ZEN-NOH GRAIN BRASIL

Corn, Soybeans and Soybean meal

About us | History

The main objective of Zen-Noh Grain Brasil is to add value to ZGC in the supply of grains to Japan and to other destinations.

Zen-Noh Grain Brasil was established in January 2015 as a subsidiary of Zen-Noh Grain Corporation (ZGC), an American company that is a subsidiary of the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations, or simply Zen-Noh.

ZGC was founded in the United States in April 1979, with the aim of establishing a safe and stable supply of US grain to Zen-Noh and its member-farmers.

Founded in 1972, Zen-Noh is responsible for the marketing and supply chain of the JA Group (Japan Agricultural Cooperatives), an organization of agricultural cooperatives whose purpose is, in the spirit of mutual assistance, to protect and improve agricultural management and the lives of farmers.

From Japan to the rest of the world!

With offices in the United States, Canada, Europe and Brazil, Zen-Noh expands every year with solid proposals and commitment.

Where do we invest?

ALZ Grãos

We invested in ALZ Grãos, a joint venture formed by three large agribusiness groups – AMAGGI, Louis Dreyfus Company and Zen-Noh.

ALZ is based in the MATOPIBA region (the states of Maranhão, Tocantins, Piauí and Bahia). It is focused in the origination and sales of soybeans and corn, and in the port operation at the Terminal de Grãos do Maranhão (TEGRAM).

Always seeking responsible business relationships that fundamentally believe in environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) issues as basic principles.

In 2020, we became Carbon Free, through the purchase of carbon credits. Our goal is to preserve the environment and to offset our carbon emissions with zero footprint.
